#1 WHIPLASH 36, #2 MACHINE 20
CJ had 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals as Whiplash raced
out to an early lead and never looked back to win the Recreational Championship.
This was Tony LaCasse's first title as coach and came after his third
consecutive season as the #1 seed. Alberto Barcenas added 7 points,
5 assists, 7 boards and 2 steals.
#1 FRITZ 61, #4 MANHUNT 45
Brad Mayeux scored 21 points, hauled in 19 rebounds and had
3 blocks as Fritz added another title to the successful franchise. Patrick
Mabray added 15 points and Craig Haas had 13 points and 5 assists for
Fritz. Manhunt cut the lead to 44-39 with about 12 minutes left before
Fritz finished with a 17-6 run to end the game. Matt Richenthal scored
24 points for Manhunt.
#1 TIGERS 38, #2 THA ONEZ

The Tigers finished the season on fire and won the Women's
Championship. At one point, The Tigers held a slim 21-19 lead over Tha
Onez but they took control in the second half to claim the title.

#2 MACHINE 46, #5 FRITZ 36
Joe Bennett and Brandon Tang combined for 14 points in a big
2nd quarter as Machine advanced to the final game. Every player scored
a basket for Machine. This will be Brandon's fourth trip to the finals
since 2003. Todd Mahler poured in a season high 10 points and Michael
Holley also had 10 points for Fritz.
#1 WHIPLASH 35, #6 dBAR 21
CJ scored 17 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and had 6 steals as
Whiplash rolled to a blowout victory. Coach Tony LaCasse returns for
his third trip to the finals since 2004. Whiplash led 15-14 at the half
but they used a swarming press to frustrate dBar outscoring them 20-7
in the second half.
